East Surrey NHS Clinical Commissioning Group

Client challenge

The NHS is undergoing significant change in the way it manages the delivery of services. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are now responsible for arranging emergency and urgent care services within their boundaries, and run a large number of projects and programmes simultaneously to ensure they can achieve good health outcomes for the local population that they serve.

East Surrey CCG are a GP-led organisation responsible for planning and buying hospital, community and mental health services across the districts of Tandridge, Redhill, Reigate and Horley. They need to have full visibility over all the change initiatives underway across East Surrey.

How did we help?

The CCG selected PM3 from Bestoutcome because of its ease of use, depth of functionality and track-record in the NHS. They will use PM3 to ensure strong governance with visibility and consistency of reporting across all their portfolios.

Benefits to East Surrey CCG

The CCG is establishing governance cycles and portfolio reviews which are underpinned by PM3. This will help ensure that the current change initiatives have good, pragmatic oversight, and that future planning follows the same governance and reporting cycles.
