NHS Brent Harrow and Hillingdon CCGs

NHS Harrow and Hillingdon

Client challenge

The NHS is undergoing significant change in the way it manages the delivery of services. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are responsible for arranging emergency and urgent care services within their boundaries, and run a large number of projects and programmes simultaneously to ensure they can achieve world-class health outcomes with excellent patient experience for the local population that they serve.

At Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon CCGs they need visibility of all these initiatives with the ability to highlight any that were ‘at risk’. This is especially critical in terms of meeting savings targets for the CCGs.

How did we help?

The CCGs selected PM3 from Bestoutcome because of its ease of use and track-record in the NHS. Working closely with the PMOs in each of the CCGs we have helped them underpin their weekly reporting cycle and ensure visibility and consistency of reporting across all the initiatives.

Benefits to Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon CCGs

The PMOs have established governance cycles and regular meetings which are underpinned by PM3. This has helped ensure that the current portfolio of initiatives has good, pragmatic oversight, and allows planning for future initiatives to also follow the same governance and reporting cycles.
