NHS North West London

Client challenge

The NHS is undergoing significant change in the way it manages the delivery of services. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) are now responsible for arranging emergency and urgent care services within their boundaries, and run a large number of projects and programmes simultaneously to ensure they can achieve good health outcomes for the local population that they serve.

The eight CCGs in North West London recognised an opportunity to provide strategy and direction from a centralised collective organisation. This allows the individual CCGs to implement the strategy locally and to work with local stakeholders to ensure that the services are meeting the agreed targets and service levels.

How did we help?

North West London collaboration of CCGs selected PM3 from Bestoutcome because of its ease of use and track-record in the NHS. Working closely with the PMO we have helped design the reporting structures and cycles that ensure visibility and consistency of reporting across all the strategy initiatives.

Benefits to North West London

The central PMO has established governance processes and cycles which are underpinned by PM3. This has helped ensure good, pragmatic oversight and early intervention where needed as the strategies are developed and implemented across the area.
