HEE identified the need to establish an efficient centralised Portfolio Management Tool to bring cohesion to the organisation’s portfolio of projects and programmes, and to ensure governance oversight across the entire HEE landscape, including the thirteen regions. This, in turn, would help HEE deliver its Business Plan.
How did we help?
DAC Beachcroft wanted to have greater visibility and control over the time and money being spent on their projects and portfolios and improve their overall programme governance. They decided to implement a professional project, programme, portfolio management system together with a time management solution.
After defining their requirements and evaluating potential partners DAC Beachcroft selected our tools, PM3 and PM3time, because of their ease of use, strong reporting capability and powerful portfolio management.
Working closely with the PMO we helped them configure PM3 and PM3time to meet their organisations ways of working. We also provided initial training for their team.
Benefits to DAC Beachcroft
The PMO established regular reporting and governance cycles which are underpinned by PM3 and PM3time. The applications act as a ‘single source of the truth’ and help to ensure visibility and consistency of reporting across DAC Beachcroft’s initiatives. They are able to show the time spent on projects and the internal cost of resources. The tools have saved DAC Beachcroft both time and money and improved their governance, providing confidence that their programmes will deliver the required business outcomes.
