Press Release: Bestoutcome PM3 Gives Premier Inns Roll Out Insight
June 16th 2014, Bestoutcome, a software services and project management company, today announced its partnership with Premier Inn New Openings, in which its PM3 software is being used centrally to manage and plan the rollout of its new hotels.Premier Inn operations management can now, in real-time, obtain a holistic overview of deployment progress and issue status.
Bestoutcome’s PM3 web-based solution is already driving significant efficiency improvements as Premier Inn rolls out more than 70 new Hotel Openings across the UK.
PM3 mitigates risk and drives efficiency by:
- standardising the method of deploying a new Site opening
- providing milestone reporting thereby highlighting slippage
- managing integrated plans involving the property, legal, marketing, finance, and IT departments
- providing granular ‘Slice and Dice’ interrogation by: location, size, format, contractor and facilities etc.
- enabling best practice and interventions to be pushed out across the estate
Commenting on the partnership, David Walton, CEO of Bestoutcome, said, “Managing multiple new hotel openings is a complex activity. With PM3 we provide a real-time central view of all activity, which flags any potential problem areas and crucially allows best practice to be cascaded across projects. The result is a more efficient process.”
Jaqcui Allum, Head of New Openings for Premier Inn, commented, “Bestoutcome’s PM3 software is helping the Premier Inn New Opening’s Team make more informed decisions as they deploy new hotel openings. Detailed visibility of slippage, easier data capture combined with the ability to cascade best practice across the estate means we are able to operate more efficiently and head off any issues when and if they arise.”
Bestoutcome was founded in 2000. The company has enjoyed considerable success providing programme management and change management services to a distinguished set of blue-chip clients.
This success has been built upon an exceptional group of talented practitioners, all with experience gained in major consultancies, who have assisted some of the UK’s leading organisations by both managing major change programmes for them, and advising and training in best practice.
From our different experiences came a consistent view of the shortcomings of existing tools and methods. This has led to us developing an approach to project management called Outcome Management (OM) and a supporting software product, PM3, which was launched Q3 2007. Outcome-driven project management is an approach to managing technical and non-technical business change projects to maximise the business benefits. It is not a PM methodology but it is complementary to PRINCE2, MSP, PMBOK, etc.
