Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance Select PM3 as their PPM Tool

09-04-2021

UK, August 4th 2020 – Bestoutcome, the leading project, portfolio management (PPM) software company, is pleased to announce the roll-out of its PM3 project, portfolio management tool by Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance.

After a software evaluation of the leading PPM packages in the market, Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance have selected PM3 as their project, programme, portfolio management tool.

David Walton, Director of Bestoutcome says:

“We are delighted that Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance (CMCA) has chosen PM3 to help manage its projects and programmes.

The Alliance leads the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) ambitions for cancer across their local system and provides system oversight and co-ordination for cancer services through collaboration with partners, with the aims of improving outcomes for patients and improving performance against key operational standards.

PM3 was chosen to help to provide a standardised approach to project management across the Alliance and to provide a ‘single source of the Truth’ to support consistency and visibility across the programmes for all reporting.”

Sarah Atherden – PMO Manager says:

“We selected PM3 because of its extensive use in the NHS, its ease of use and powerful and efficient reporting mechanisms. We have some very good project management practices across CMCA, but we wanted to have a more standardised and consistent approach which PM3 will facilitate and support.

Its ability to partition will allow each partner within the Alliance to keep their projects private but also allow multiple organisations to work on integrated programmes when required”
